At Made Four: A Lagree Studio, we believe strength is about more than just muscles—it’s about building the endurance, confidence, and resilience to do what you were made for.
We know that traditional workouts can leave you feeling drained, frustrated, or even injured. Maybe you’ve tried endless HIIT workouts that wear you down, or you love Pilates but feel like you still need cardio after. Maybe you’re worried about joint health, aging, or simply finding a workout that does it all without taking up hours of your week.
That’s where Lagree comes in. Originally designed for actresses and models in LA, Lagree has been perfected over the last 20 years to deliver high-intensity, low-impact, full-body strength training that builds long, lean muscles while improving bone density, balance, mobility, and endurance. You’ll get the muscle-sculpting benefits of strength training, the heart-pumping intensity of cardio, and the mindfulness of Pilates—all in one workout.

WHY I LOVE LAGREE: It’s the most efficient workout I’ve ever done—strength, endurance, and cardio in one. It makes me stronger not just physically, but mentally. Lagree engages my mind unlike anything else and I’m forced to be fully present in the move I’m doing. Plus, I love that it’s low impact but still so intense.

WHY I LOVE LAGREE: Years ago, I screwed my knee to the point surgery was in the question, I opted to not take that route and instead did PT. The biggest thing I took away from PT was the need to strengthen the muscles around my knee and in my leg in general having been compensating on it for a long time. Knowing that I was weak, but still needed to be careful with my knee, I needed something that was low impact, but that would strengthen. Here in comes Lagree. I was friends with Sutton from Clemson and I’d seen her post this workout she taught when she was in Columbia so I reached out about it. Fortunately for me, there was a Lagree studio in Charleston where I lived at the time, MegaBodi, formerly Method, and I fell in LOVE. Did I have the worst form and come out of the moves more frequently than anyone? Yes. But it was unreal how much every workout killed me in the best way, and to see & feel my progression over time to where I could hold moves for longer, add more springs, etc. was the BEST feeling. I was getting stronger with every session. Kudos also to my instructor there, Dawn, who had so much patience for me and was always having to correct my form (IT MATTERS!!). Lagree is truly meant for ANYONE on any skill level because of how many ways you can modify the moves whether that be for the stronger or the weaker person. It is very humbling in the fact it is always, always, a challenge and forever will be, and the shaking to me is hilarious because it is proof in the moment of it working. And hey? Just 45 mins of your day for a workout for the busy people out there? Count me IN. 🤪

WHY I LOVE LAGREE: Beyond what Lagree has done for my physical strength, it has taught me mental resilience. I know that each time I walk into class, I have a mental battle to face. Lagree is like an escape for me- no thoughts- just me and the mega. There are SO many things I love about Lagree, but my favorite is the community I have found along the way. There is truly nothing like having like-minded friends to get stronger with!
